Each of us takes a
number of journeys in our lifetime. Some of those are down the road and
around a hill. Others are journeys within, the sometimes bumpy road to
self-improvement. Hopefully, the success is in the journey, the act of
trying to be something better in 2004 than we were in 2003.
We have always been and will always be
presented with forks in the road. Those forks are the succession of
choices that face us. . .literally millions over a lifetime. And not
all those choices are the seemingly big ones, like where to live or what
to be when we grow up. Some are so small we hardly realize we made
them.
One of our greatest challenges has to be the
acceptance of the fact that we have a vast power within us, the power to
choose what we think and feel. It’s an awesome power and one we should
use to its fullest. What a world this could be if everyone took the
responsibility for his own thoughts and took it upon herself to choose
only good thoughts.
Use Your Power Wisely - - -
Choose to laugh, rather than cry.
Choose to heal, rather than hurt.
Choose to create, rather than destroy.
Choose to have courage, rather than
fear.
Choose to praise, rather than
criticize.
Choose to give, rather than take.
Choose to act, rather than
procrastinate.
Choose to persevere, rather than quit.
Choose to grow, rather than stagnate.
Choose to pray, rather than curse.
Choose to forgive, rather than keep
score.
Choose to live, rather than die.
CHOOSE TO LOVE, RATHER THAN HATE.
We hope your new year
is one of many blessings,
Lana Keating
