Think of your mind as a laboratory test tube. If
you are looking for harmonious, positive results, what you add to the
test tube must be harmonious. In the analogy of your mind, what you add
to it will be your thoughts.
Worst case, if you add the wrong thing
to the test tube, it will explode. But there will never be positive
results with inharmonious ingredients. (Of course, in a way, it is
positive to learn what doesn’t work.)
Laboratories are places of
experimentation. OK. . .experiment with your mind laboratory. Think
something negative. How does it make you feel? Is it harmony you feel?
Our best friends and our worst enemies are our
thoughts. A thought can do us more good than a doctor or a banker or a faithful
friend. It can also do us more harm than a
brick.
