It Came to Pass Many stories written in the past, including some of those in the Bible, were prefaced by the phrase "and it came to pass." Perhaps it was just a figure of speech, like "once upon a time." But if we look at it further, it fairly well expressed what every condition or situation in life is. . .a thing that exists or occurs for a time, and then disappears. If we could live our lives, with all its challenges, as if we knew that "this, too, will pass," then we would have less to fret over, wouldn’t we? Because . . .to worry, to fear, or to be concerned is to accept the permanence of a condition or situation. Be encouraged. . .any difficulty you are facing is only temporary.
