How much of today have you spent trying to
be perfect. That’s hard work! Perhaps you’re a little tired.
Your rational mind might tell you it’s not
logical to think you can be perfect. Your heart might tell you the same
thing. But your ego might interfere and tell you that being less than
perfect is inadequate. Many are taught from childhood that perfection
is expected of them. They then go on to expect it of themselves.
If you are dealing with this issue in
yourself, please. . .at least for the rest of the day. . .ease up, back
off, cool it, chill, or do whatever it takes to release yourself from
the need to be something that is impossible to be.
Have patience with all things, but
chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage
in considering your own imperfections, but instantly set
about remedying them--every day begin the task anew.
Saint Francis de Sales
We wish you peace of mind,
