Count Your Blessings Count your blessings! That can sometimes sound so trite. But if you’re having a day/week/month when you feel the blessings are few and far between, give yourself a few moments to stop and really consider what your blessings are. Perhaps you question whether having to get up this morning was a blessing, which could be perceived as an extremely large blessing to someone who is bed-ridden. The key word here is perception. Remember, so many of what you might call problems in your life would seem like blessings to someone else. And that someone’s problem might seem like a blessing to you. Sometimes it’s just a matter of perspective. If you aren’t feeling grateful for what you have, be grateful for the problems you don’t have. But, it’s a guarantee that you will feel better if you concentrate on your blessings.
