Choose Peace You have a choice today, and every day of your life. Do you choose being right, or do you choose peace? Sometimes, you just can’t have both. Your need to be right can quite easily obstruct the way to your peace. If you just can’t "give in" and let someone else be right this time, you will pay a price. . .mentally, physically, and emotionally. Don’t think for a minute that your entire being won’t be affected by holding on to your side of an argument or disagreement. The body chemicals that produce aging and disease will be produced if you’re tense and up-tight. The reverse is true if you make peace your choice. Your body will produce the chemicals that heal. We wouldn’t suggest for a minute that you be untrue to yourself and your values. If that is the issue, you must make a decision based on that. But, there are some areas of disagreement we all have when it just doesn’t matter who’s right. Acknowledge those times, and choose peace.
